Corporate Membership provides the corporation with a set of transferable passes that can be given to anyone of the corporation's choosing. The bearer is entitled to a round of golf (carts can be included) and has access to all of CGC's golfing facilities including the restaurant and veranda. An ideal arrangement for entertainment or rewards.
Several membership packages are available at attractive prices. For more information, please contact our Golf Professional, Paul Whittingham, at 426-6462. Paul will be pleased to give you the full story.
Why Join a Golf Club

If you are in the habit of playing various golf courses, you may wonder why on earth anyone would want to join a golf club where you play the same course all the time. Here are some reasons why a Club membership is very popular.
1. Memberships can allow you to play as often as you want for a fixed cost.
2. If you want to improve your game, and you are willing to put in the effort, there are six basic steps to take to reach that goal:
a. Play often enough. To maintain form you really need to play at least twice a week.
b. Play competitively.
c. Measure your performance; know definitively where your game actually stands.
d. Identify your shortcomings.
e. Get quality instruction where needed and don’t be afraid to change.
f. Practice.
Joining a Club opens all these doors to you. Simply by playing more often and more regularly you’ll become more consistent and elevate your skill level. Clubs offer a good competitive environment. Competition represents challenge and challenge inspires improvement. Clubs also have handicap systems available and maintaining a current handicap tells you exactly where your game is at and whether you’re improving. Instruction and practice facilities are handy and of good quality. If you have the will, you’ll have stimulation and assistance to progress.
3. A membership gives you access to a licensed handicap system that provides the means to establish an official handicap which allows you to participate in competitions, formal or friendly, at home or away, on a fair and equitable basis.
4. A membership should be anything but boring. Play in a group usually involves a monetary arrangement, and with everyone having a current handicap, you have a level playing field for competition. The competition then becomes the focus of attention and the occasion for a lot of fun.
5. Clubs have member events that provide competition for players at all levels. They’re fun, test your ability, offer prizes and lead you to make new acquaintances.
6. A golf Club is a means to meet other people. There are Club events, including events that cater to new members, and a Golf Shop that will help get you out golfing with others. A golf Club is often the basis for new and enduring friendships.
Why the Cranbrook Golf Club?
1. Cranbrook has all the features you would look for in a member golf Club.
2. Memberships are available for all age categories that allow you to play an unlimited number of times per season. Membership fees are quite reasonable with services optional and separately priced.
3. Cranbrook is a fine golf course, a championship layout without any strange holes. It has a great course ambiance with a pleasing ‘private’ feel that invites you to play. The favourable climate, an ample water supply along with first-rate maintenance make for top playing conditions throughout the season - that season being the longest in the Cranbrook-Kimberley area. The greens are generally considered to be the best in the valley - speedy, true and receptive. A pleasure to play.
4. If you prefer to ride a cart, you may drive right to your ball. If your preference is walking, you’ll love Cranbrook. It is a very efficient layout with moderate elevation change. A nice walk.
5. While the course itself has a private quality, the Club, on the other hand, is down-to-earth and friendly with members who love to golf. The Golf Shop is as good as it gets and makes every effort to take special care of members.
6. Members like to keep it moving and a round generally takes about four hours to play.
7. If you live in the Cranbrook area you are in close proximity. Not far to drive at all.
